Induction Weekend: Eastern Cape March 25, 2017

Early in the first semester, 30 students from Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University (NMMU), and 24 students from Rhodes University met at Blanco Guest Farm for the Eastern Cape Induction weekend. Here, against the backdrop of the distinctive flat topped mountains and the lush green lawns, the students enjoyed a weekend of connecting and getting to know each other, as well as training in presentation skills, Moshal values, and relationship wellness. Nozuko was able to have great interactive sessions with her senior students, as they discussed entering the “real world” of the post-graduate job market. The team building had the students running around in different fun activities, and on the Sunday, students had an opportunity that was a real first – to shoot at a flying clay pigeon target with a shotgun!
